We design, finance, build and operate Biomass District Heating Networks for Commercial and Residential properties. HESCO offers a Turnkey Solution or a full Operation and Maintenance Service.

From initial system concept and design through to feasibility studies and engineering calculations, we provide detailed design and working drawings for all component parts including the installation of the underground pipework, we also take the scheme through planning.

Our highly experienced engineering and procurement teams ensure the construction of the boiler house, installation of the biomass boiler(s) and complete heating and fuel store technology are completed to MCS and HETAS standards.

On the secondary heat side of the Installation, we include distribution pumps, pipework and Heat Interface Units (HIU)/Plate Heat Exchangers (PHE) to connect to the existing heating system within your property whether that is commercial or residential, this is seamless and with little or no disruption to your existing heating system and property.

Installation of all management systems for the heating production and distribution to each heat user are all designed to meet building regulations.

Heat Users and paying for heat

Heat and Hot Water are provided to the customer on a price per kWh of heat/hot water used. This is calculated via your Ofgem approved Heat Meter, and this price includes the maintenance of the system including all repairs and services as defined in the Terms and Conditions.

Our Partners, ie principle supply partners, are the best of breed in the industry and include, installation partners Alternative Heat, boiler manufacturers Herz, pre-insulated pipework from Rehau and Uponor for below ground pre-insulated pipe runs. ISTA Heat Meters and leading biomass boiler manufacturers from across Europe who are selected based upon the requirements of each development.

All of the above allow us to develop a bespoke Biomass Community Heating System for new developments or retrofit into existing heating systems.
